Description: Vertegy led the project team for this showroom and maintenance shop, which became the first Harley-Davidson store to be LEED certified. The building is constructed with insulated concrete forms and has superior energy efficiency. The building is partially powered by a wind turbine, and waste oil from the bike maintenance shop is burned to heat the radiant floor system in the shop. The project also features native landscaping, extensive natural daylight and the implementation of a low-emitting strategy, which helps provide exceptional indoor air quality for all building users.
